Help Teacher Tiffany raise 250 small donations (between $5-$350) to qualify for Portland’s Small Donor Elections program in her run for Portland City Council. Candidates like Tiffany can receive a 9-to-1 match for every $20 donated by Portlanders. In exchange, Tiffany is committed to accepting maximum donations of $350 and no money from Corporate PACs.

Political Tax Credit:

Did you know that Oregon offers a unique Political Tax Credit? The credit is simple — Oregon taxpayers who earn under $75,000 per individual, or under $150,000 per household can give up to $50 per year (or $100 for joint-filing couples) to qualifying local election candidates of their choice and receive the full amount as a credit subtracted from state taxes at tax time. It’s like a free donation! 

You qualify if:

  • You are an Oregon resident
  • You will submit an Oregon tax return for 2023
  • You will make less than $75,000 in 2023 (or $150,000 for joint-filing couples)
